Messing around with PhotoToWeb. In the Main Viewer drawer I can set the web scale to 39.9% for the size I wish to export. Since I cannot select all the images at once, I am forced to select each image and set it. Very annoying.

Went to the Preferences Panel to create a new defaut size for the images. It will only allow full percentages!!! How come I can set 39.9% in the drawer but only set 40% in the preferences?

One would think that if it works one way in one panel, it would work the same way in the other panel. I'd like to see this fixed so that both values can have fractions of a percent like in the drawer.

Why not simply allow the user to type in the size value and have the corresponding value set by the aspect ratio? I guess I'm just not a fan of sliders.

Actually you can scale ALL IMAGES en masse:

Web -> Web Scale...

Now, you can either scale to a percent (if you know what works), or even better, set the maximum height or maximum width, or maximum edge to a certain pixel size - that's really excellent when you have rotated photos and photos of differing sizes....

Rereading your post more carefully, you CAN do what you want now ;-)

Preferences -> Layout

Hold down OPTION key while dragging Photo Scale slider - release it.

Note that you can now set the percentage in thousandths - I can now type in 39.9 (.399 if you wondering why I said thousandths!)

That's great news Andrew! I'm glad those features are already in there.

I still think that they should all work the same way (either all should use the option key way or all should simply allow for the decimal values in the first place). I mean don't you think that since they all set percentages for the images shouldn't they all simply work the same way from the get go?

Thanks for your quick response.
