Preparing for a VJ gig I got totally inspired this week - check out this new beta version of Videator with a notion of repeated Live Input's (Add Live Input on Effects menu or in list of Effects after Add Image/Movie):

For example:

Recursion , 4 up, live input in overlayed transparent perspective - and so on - let's see what you guys come up with!

Safari seems to work for me.

And - coming soon - and this is really amazing - I've figured out a way to connect Videator to the output of the realtime fractal generation software XaoS....

Preliminary - but very worth trying:

download, unpack into /Applicaitons:
ftp://ftp.swcp.com/pub/tmp/a/XaoS.zip

download, unpack
ftp://ftp.swcp.com/pub/tmp/a/Videator.dmg.gz

Launch Videator, then choose:
Tools -> Connect to XaoS

Try "Effects -> Add Random Effects" and then start mousing down in the XaoS window - or try XaoS's autopilot under the UI menu...

A week later, and wow - also Live Input works full screen now!

download, unpack into /Applications:
ftp://ftp.swcp.com/pub/tmp/a/XaoS.zip

download, unpack
ftp://ftp.swcp.com/pub/tmp/a/Videator.dmg.gz

Launch Videator, then choose:
Tools -> Connect to XaoS

In XaoS - type "a"
In Videator, choose "Effects -> Andrew's VJ Effects"

In XaoS, choose Help -> Tutorial -> An Introduction to Fractals -> Whole story to learn tons!
