Me again. One problem solved, another pops up.

It seems unusually difficult to add a Master Layer to multiple pages (but not ALL pages -- that's straightforward enough).

How I seem to have to do it is to open the Master Layers dialog, select the first page I want the master layer to apply to, click "Add", then select the next page, click "Add" again, and so on. This gets very tedious very quickly when I'm, for example, trying to add a chapter heading to a fifty-page chapter.

I could write shorter chapters, I guess.

Making it even more tedious than it needs to be is the fact that after adding the master layer, Create seems to jump the selection back to whatever page is currently being displayed in the document window, so I can't even just quickly arrow down then click "Add" from one page to the next.

Multiple selection in the Master Layers dialogue would be handy.

I hope I'm missing something obvious.

In addition, the note in the help about ordering Master Layers appears to not be exactly correct. The Help states that Master Layers draw in the order in which they are listed in the left-hand pane of the Master Layers dialogue, but I am finding that they in fact draw in the order in which they are added to a given page. Which is frustrating.

I think what you are asking is could master layer selection observe the standard finder commands. Select the first page, hold apple key to select further pages, hold shift key to select all between. That would be very useful and hold with standard convention.

As for Master Layers selecting the viewed page that was a feature asked for some time ago.

Just click "Go To Page" if you want to change the page to view it.

Master Layers are drawn in the order they appear in the list - add them in the order you want them drawn...

Multiple selection would be good in a future version, I agree.

I'm sorry, I don't actually understand this sentence. Can you rephrase or elaborate, please? Thanks.

You should probably update the documentation, because that's not how it says it works...

Thanks for the responses!

The Master Layers panel can be used for navigation: select a page, then click the "Go To" button below. Same for the layers....

Ah, I see what you're saying. Sadly, that doesn't solve my problem, which is that everytime I add a new master layer to a page, Create returns my selection in the right-hand panel to whatever page is currently being displayed, so I can't (for example) easily navigate from one page to the next, adding master layers as I go.

Is there a recommended way for creating chapter headings?

Even if Master Layers just didn't return to the currently displayed page after adding a new layer that would be a HUGE help.
