I have been using PStill for a couple of weeks, and I have run across one very annoying issue.

If I try to merge more than 150 tiiff's into a PDF file PStill crashes with an access violation error.

Work arround use less that 150 tiff's and merge into PDF file. Then merge PDF's into single PDF.

Using drag an drop if I move more than approximately 150 tiff files into the input files box, than PStill exits with access violation error.

Also, I'm seeing a situation where Finder is now working correctly if a large number of files are in a single folder.

This is on a eMac (PPC) 800 MHz, 1 GByte Ram, Mac OS X 10.4.6.

Tiff's are created using VueScan 8.3 as single Tiff's.

Any idea's as to why this is occurring?

Try doing batches of 100 files, and then merge those PDFs together with combine....

I'll check later this week if there's something I can do here.

You probably missed it.

But if I select around say 130 or less and create a pdf, then select the next 130 and create a pdf. I can than merge the two pdf's into one.

It is something about the number of files in the input stream.

I would wait until the next planned release since there is a valid work-around.
