Hello - I can't seen tot get PSTILL to distill the PDF to a low eoough file size to e mail. I get it down to about 2.5, but since I am sending three in one e mail, it gets way too large. I've played with all the adjustments, and when I do get it down to a reasonable size, the images are way too blurry, and the colors are way off. The files are being created in Quark 6.0, if that helps.

What other adjustments can I make to reduce the files size?

Hard to say without knowing what options you've chosen so far!

1. Preferences -> Preference Sets pulldown -> Web Publishing

As for blurriness, just play with the JPEG compression Quality slider - how you get a small document is by downsampling the images to 72 dpi - if they still need to print them at high res, then you clearly do not want to do this.

Also be sure under Prefs -> Misc, Flate Compression, you have "Use Binary" and "Maximum Compression" selected.

Fonts: "Partial (subset) Fonts" selected

BTW, selecting the Web Publishing automatically configures all I have mentioned above.
