Now a tip if you DO NOT for some reason want the new Quicktime 7.2 Capture features:

There is a way to turn off the new Quicktime Capture API - although you would then miss out on all the new advantages like your video camera can now run in multiple applications at once (assuming those other applications are also using the new API!) and my favorite, being able to switch live input cameras on the fly.
