Okay, I save a document with a custom page size - say 14" wide by 66" long.

Then, I open a new file, which opens to default.

If I now go re-open the custom file, it reverts back to the default page sizes and I have to try to remember my original custom sizes. The internal formating of objects and text isn't lost, it's just a pain trying to remember the custom sizes and make it right again.

Am I missing something?

I think I found out through experimentation that certain printers disallow certain page sizes (Ones that are not supported) - was such a printer selected?

Usually, I direct people to use Page Layout -> Page Size, custom and create a new page size if the "Custom Page Size" doesn't stick.

Let me know what printer you have too.

I wasn't printing out - just uploading to web.

There's a chance the printer was open and Create sensed it and resized itself.

I'm mobil and have a bunch of printer drivers on my system - HP's, Cannon's.

I'll try the create custom size angle and see if that makes them stick.
