Preamble: I'd clicked on the toolbar lozenge but didn't really want that so clicked it again to reveal the toolbar then command clicked the lozenge to change the toolbar from Icons to small Text. When it didn't cycle to that option right away (no reason it should) I clicked the Customize icon. Once the sheet was visible the menu option at the bottom said Text Only but the toolbar was in Icon mode and the Use small size box was checked but the icons were large size.

Background: small text is my preferred way of viewing the toolbar but I think this is the first time I've run Create since updating to Version 12.5 ( Jan 1 2006 [build 562] ) and the toolbar was not in my preferred state when I launched the program.

Problem: the sheet got stuck like a broken window shade that would not recoil. Console said things like

I saved the document and quit the program and all was well afterwards.

Hey neat trick! I didn't realize they would cycle around. I tried this and it worked so it may be something to do with what custom items you have up there? If you can replicate it, take a screen grab of your custom items and I'll see if that can trigger the bug.

I think basically what happened was the preferences were set one way and for whatever reason (upgrading the app or the OS a point between app runs) the window opened with the default toolbar prefs. The toolbar appearance was incongruent with the settings at the bottom of the sheet. Once the sheet was open there was confusion. I bet that if I just cycled the toolbar style until I got to my desired small text variety using the lozenge click then there would never have been a (visible) problem.

My toolbar items are the default set (mostly I use keystrokes anyway).

I'll let you know if it happens again.
