I have built the front end of a site using Create. Since I have no HTML/coding experience, nor the time to learn, I have approached an IT provider and asked them to build a dynamic back end: a cart to enable on-line transactions -- the sale of an e-book (also created in Create).
Now that this back-end code has been added to my Create-designed site, I now face the problem of how to efficiently update the front end as to not disturb or otherwise undo or change anything on the back-end (cart) site of my site.
I suspect I will only need to make changes to the front end of the site a few times per year, so this is not a huge problem, but I would still like to hear from Forum users how they approach/solve this kind of (collaborative) problem. fyi, the programmer, a Sequel specialist, has never used Create.
As to possible solutions: 1. I send him updated site output and he then copies/pastes the cart code into the site? 2. I figure out how to insert his code into my Create file? 3. Other?
