NO NEW CREATE UPDATES?

Have not had an update a quite a long time. Has Create been abandoned?

Not since a year ago August. I was afraid this was going to happen, and I posted a message about it in the General Discussion forum back in January. The App Store has stolen our developer from us. We were spoiled by frequent responses and updates, and I'm afraid that's a thing of the past. It's not economically efficient to keep writing code for programs that don't bring in any revenue with lifetime free updates, not when iPhone apps are bringing in the bacon.

I read that one longtime Mac developer was going to stop coding for the Mac because he had made more money in the initial three months (or something like that) of the App Store than he had in all of his 20 years of regular coding. I certainly can't blame anyone for taking advantage of the App Store while it's hot. I wish I had an idea for an iPhone app! I wonder if Create might see an update when the App Store craze dies down. I wonder if the App Store craze WILL die down. Seems like it's going great guns.

I still love Create, but when I recommend it to anyone now, it's with a caveat regarding updates. Not just Create, all the Stone apps. I can continue using them the way they are and still feel like I have gotten my money's worth from them. It's just disappointing to think that it might be the end of the road.

Any problems with Stone apps in 10.6 Snow Leopard? Web site is quiet about this, but I expect any Stone app to be just fine.

I have not run into any problems using Create with OS X 10.6.1

What are your glitches? Are they reproducible? I have had no problems, so far, with 10.6.6

embeded images not showing up... or disappearing... :-(

getting weird clipping on vector files (near the top, could be me? i hope) as far as reproducing them... they reproduce at when i don't want them to. Im not sure what causes them. iMacG5 10.5.8 1GB DDR SDRAM Create Version 14.2.3 ( Aug 8 2008 [build 818] )
