Hi again,
The "cool text effect" is exactly what I was looking for for the title on the cover of the upcoming new edition of my book (yay!) Worth the price of admission just by itself. So now I'm going to use Pages (or maybe Create!) rather than ol' FreeHand to do the cover.
Anyhoo, I recreated the famous cool text effect, and then copied and pasted it so I could have several independent lines of text. So now I have an Imaginator doc with several Text Layers (or whatever you Imaginators call 'em), and I try to move (around in the drawing window) the 2nd or 3rd layer, the 1st layer moves instead, no matter which layer I select. Even if I change the order of the text layers, I can only move the first text layer I created (imaginated?!), unless I disable it. So, as far as I can see, disabling layers is the only way to more other layers around.
I must've done something funky, but I don't know what.
Hmmm, I thought there was a way to attach the file here, but don't see it. Newbie newbie newbie! Be nice to the newbie!
