First off, thanks to you guys for adding this forum. :)

Now to the point: I just want to confirm this so I'm sure it's not something with my setup. Creating a selection with the bezier curves tool crashes TIFFany 3 on my iMac running Panther (Mac OS X 10.3.x). Have others found this to be true?

I'm able to use the Bezier selection tool with 10.3.3 (TIFFany 3.5.10). Have you tried moving aside your prefs file or testing under another user account? Does it only occur with certain images/image types? The only thing I can't do is save as PNG; other than that, T3 does more than I can understand :).

When was the last time you downloaded a copy of TIFFany3? There was a small update last October as I recall to help with Panther compatibility. If this problem didn't start until you started using Panther, that maybe the problem (or the fix to the problem that is).

I found the other Caffeine thread in the General Discussion area, and I'm in the midst of downloading the Panther update. I'll post back if that isn't the fix. If it isn't, I'll set up a troubleshooter account and start tinkering...

Thanks!

[later]…and indeed the October Panther update fixed the issue. :)
