The Difference Between Document HTML and HTML Preferences
December 09, 2002

I guess we weren't very clear in the documentation.

HTML Preferences affect future Create documents. They have no impact on already-created Create documents. Except for the items on the Special tab. Which have no counterpart in the Document HTML window.

Document HTML settings affect the current Create document. The initial settings are based on the HTML Preferences settings. To modify the settings for the current Create document, make changes in the Document HTML window.

Is there any way to make the current document HTML settings become the HTML preferences for future documents?
