Q: Are Stone Studio applications written in Carbon or Cocoa?
A: All of Stone Design's applications are 100% Cocoa. We've been working with Objective-C and Cocoa precursors for over 10 years.
Q: I don't see a version of that's compatible with Mac OS 9. Do you have anything for OS9?
A: We are a 100% Mac OS X only shop (and have been for 13 years)!
Q: But Mac OS X was only released in March 2001!
A: We've been developing for the predecessors of Mac OS X since the beginnings of NextStep. We had the first commercial product for NextStep (TextArt), and continued to develop for OpenStep and Mac OS X Server.
Q: All of a sudden, some of my Stone Studio applications (as well as some other applications) don't run.
A: Did you recently install TinkerTools? If so, try using TinkerTool's "reset to system defaults" option.
Q: I'm not in the USA and don't have a credit card. How can I buy your products?
A: Any major bank can issue an international money order in US funds or you can wire your payment directly to us. Contact info@stone.com for additional information.
